On the 11th and 12th of November the international Symposium for prevention of obesity and cardiovascular disease took place in Vienna. Prof. Harald Tschan participated in the program as speaker of the lecture “Health enhancing physical activity in pre-school and school-aged children in Europe” and as moderator of the panel discussion “What future steps need to be taken to achieve our goals in prevention?”. In addition Richard Hauer held a presentation about the “Effects of a two-year additional physical education class intervention on changes in motor skills in elementary school children” within the Symposium.
