From the 5th to 7th September 2016 the International Conference of the Polish Society of Biomechanics (Biomechanics 2016) took place in Biała Podlaska (POL). Prof. Baca held a keynote lecture on „Towards fast and accurate estimation of human body segment parameter values” and Michaela Haßmann MSc presented about „Aerodynamics, EMG and 3D joint angles of different flight configurations of ATOS hang glider and pilot. A case study.” Afterwards, there was a meeting with the partners of Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw within the WTZ OeAD project „Model-based prediction and on boat validation of ‘choosing the crew’ process in competitive double rowing“.
