More than 2700 scientists from all over the world took part in the 21. Congress of the European College of Sports Science (ECSS). This congress ranks among the most important events of sports science and was hosted in Vienna for the first time. Mag. Richard Hauer, Mag. Pascal Bauer and Christoph Triska, MSc of the department for training science presented details/data of their dissertation projects. Furthermore, Christoph Triska together with Dr. Bettina Karsten were substantially involved in the organization and realization of the Sattelitesymposium “The Evolution of Critical Power testing in the Laboratory an in the Field”. We would like to thank the entire organizational team and hope that our guests had a good time in Vienna.
